Camp Kesem at UMD 2025

We had another magical week full of games, sports, arts and crafts, laughs, and lots of fun at Camp Kesem UMD 2025! This year, we welcomed 93 incredible campers to Sandy Hill campgrounds where campers and counselors alike formed memories that will last a lifetime. As we reflect on camp, we remember what Kesem Magic means: a space for love, understanding, and support that will follow our campers and camper families forever. We are already counting down the days until camp next summer!

Camp may be over, but back on campus we are already working hard on fundraising, planning events for campers, tabling at events, and recruiting more members!

Feeling nostalgic yet? We had our first Kesem Social just a few weeks ago! New and returning members had fun playing cornhole and Spikeball, making clay sculptures, and getting to know one another!

Our 2025 Fall Friends and Family Day (FFD) is only a month away! At FFD, returning campers and prospective families get the chance to enjoy some fun camp activities and learn more about what Camp Kesem is like! This event will happen at the University of Maryland campus on November 16th from 12-4PM. If you can’t make it, we will host another Friends and Family Day in the spring. Please email [email protected] with any questions. In the meantime, take a moment to enjoy some of last year’s FFD fun!

We are partnering with Panda Express and Chipotle this semester for profit share fundraisers! Get ready, get hungry, get some good food AND contribute to a good cause!
